Many see computer programming as an obscure blend of strange words and symbols only a few understand. Traditional computer science courses put theory ahead of practice, explaining the what before providing the why. However, there are just 5 foundational concepts, simple enough for anyone to grasp and common to nearly every programming language. Further, there are tools and resources that make programming more accessible than ever before. This session will explore these basic concepts and some available resources so that you’ll be comfortable incorporating programming into your homeschool.
